The staff were quite accommodating, and the clean wood-look flooring made the room feel fresher than average motels. However, the bathroom cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Overall, a decent option for a quick stay, especially if traveling with pets.

great base for exploring sikeston's charm and culture
During my stay, I really appreciated how close the hotel was to the sikeston depot museum, which was just over 5 km away, perfect for leisurely walking to explore local history, and I enjoyed visiting the nearby malco sikeston cinema, just under 4 km away, where I caught a great movie after a day of walking around town. plus, the spacious and cozy room made it easy to unwind after a fun-filled day of sightseeing.

We loved how spacious the room was, which was perfect for our family of seven. The kids enjoyed the pool, and we appreciated how easy it was to make quick trips to nearby attractions without much hassle.
In my wife’s opinion, they need more hangers.

Had a great time with my friends at this spot! We were able to explore a couple of local attractions and just unwind together. The room was cozy, and we loved that we could all gather easily. If you're looking for an affordable place to crash while on the road, this is it.
Though everything else was nice, we did have some trouble with cleanliness in the bathroom area. it could definitely use a proper deep clean.

quiet room but cleanliness needs attention
The room looked clean upon entry and the soundproofing was impressive. I appreciated the spacious layout, which made it easy to move around with my partner. The accommodating staff ensured we had everything we needed during our stay, making us feel welcome. Additionally, I enjoyed the free Wi-Fi, which was reliable for browsing and planning our local outings.
However, I noticed some cleanliness issues that detracted from the overall experience.

The Standard King Room provided a clean bed and a hot shower—all I needed for the night. I appreciated the soundproofing, as I could barely hear any barking from a nearby dog. However, the Wi-Fi connectivity was spotty, and I noticed a couple of roaches in the air conditioner, which was unsettling. More attention to bathroom cleanliness would definitely enhance the experience.

Affordability hit the mark at $45 a night, which is a win for anyone looking for a budget stay. The wood-look flooring offered a fresher feel compared to many other motels, providing a cozy ambiance despite some minor cleanliness issues.
However, I ran into a few problems that could use some attention. The WiFi connection didn’t work at all, which was frustrating. The door to the room didn’t seal, allowing drafts in, and finding a couple of roaches next to the air conditioner right before checkout was less than ideal. Limited hangers made it difficult to unpack, and the bathroom needed a serious deep clean, with hair and grime in spots that were hard to ignore.

The Standard King Room offered a hot shower and a clean bed, which were my main priorities during this stay. I appreciated the affordability at $45 for the night. The room looked clean and was surprisingly quiet despite nearby noise. Although I encountered issues with WiFi connectivity, the room itself felt decent for a quick stay. However, the door didn’t seal properly, and drafts came through, which was uncomfortable at times. Finding two roaches on the air conditioner right before checkout was definitely unsettling. It would be helpful if they addressed the cleanliness issues more thoroughly to enhance the overall experience.
